Paul,
I will remember Sharon’s warm smile, and the twinkle of her eyes, forever. She has been called home, to her reward for a lifetime of love.
Some days it hurts to love. This is one of those days, as you and young Grace have lost a wonderful wife and mother. But look around you, for that burden is one you share with your family and friends, just as you shared the joy of loving Sharon.
From the Book of Wisdom: The souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; but they are in peace. We believe that death is a passage from this life to the next, promised by Jesus Christ, to share in God's mercy and compassion. Sharon is there now, while we join to celebrate her life, and while we mourn the loss.
I pray the angels will carry Sharon, not so quickly that you and her family and friends may have one glance with which Sharon may know how much you have loved her. God bless and keep you and Grace, all the Collins and all the Hanleys.
With affection,
Tim Naughton
