My wife Sarah & I have long been friends of the Knox family. Sarah and Ernestine attended school together in Hertford, NC and have been friends ever since. Nelly (formerly Chanel) is our God Daughter and we lived in Oyster Bay for forty-five years and attended Mount Olive Baptist Church. We moved to Palm Springs, California several years ago but still stay in touch. We are so sorry to hear about Robbie and will always remember him fondly.

Q: How did you meet Robert? A: Robert or Robbie as I remember him, was my cousin. Sadly, though, I have not seen him since he was a very young boy. My condolences to my Aunt Ernestine, and cousins Sharon, Cassie, and Derwin. Though we do not keep in touch, you all are always in my heart. Love you, Leslie and family.

My most special memories of my brother is when he would visit me at home on Lake Avenue, he would come in and take over and tell me what to do, I loved it!!!
