Jack J. LaRocca

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather

Jack J. LaRocca, of Woodbury, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather whose warmth and wisdom touched all who knew him.

Jack was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” LaRocca. Together, they shared 73 wonderful years of marriage—a lasting testament to love, commitment, and partnership. He was the loving father of Lisa LaRocca and the late Frank LaRocca. Jack’s legacy lives on through his grandchildren—Meghan Schou (and her husband Joseph), Jordan Woldenberg, and Emily LaRocca—and his great-grandchildren, Kerry and John Schou, who brought him endless pride and joy.

A lifelong golf enthusiast, Jack found joy and camaraderie on the fairways. He was a proud member of the Men’s Club at the Oyster Bay Golf Course and spent many happy days playing there, as well as at Timber Point and Brookville Country Club. Whether perfecting his swing or enjoying the company of friends, golf was one of Jack’s greatest passions.

Jack will be remembered for his deep devotion to his family, his kind and generous spirit, and a life well-lived with integrity and heart. His presence will be deeply missed and his memory forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
