Obituary of Horacio Rodriguez Jr.

HORACIO "Rey" RODRIGUEZ

Rey was a bartender and singer-songwriter who was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Glen Cove. He raised his family in Bayville before finally settling in Elmont.

He leaves behind Kathy Karas, his loving and devoted partner, and Carol D. Rodriguez, the mother of his children. He is survived by his children, Veronica Ciampi (Joey), Victor (Diana), Vanessa Lagalante (John), Vinnie, Vito (Roussana).

He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Jaici, Devon, Junie, Justin, JT, Julia, Vito Jr., Michael, Nicolette, Jaida, Anthony, Gianna, Joseph "Jopop" and Joey.

He will also be lovingly remembered by Kathy's children, Christopher (Maegan), Jimmy (Victoria) and Mary, along with Kathy's grandchildren Victoria, Greyson, Kalliope, Lorelai, Lilly and Lucas.

A Celebration of Life for Rey will be held at a private residence.
