Obituary of Miriam Flower
On October 15, 2024, Miriam K. Flower passed peacefully to her home in heaven. She was 101 years old. Beloved wife of Henry, mother of Cindy and Skip and grandmother, known as "G", to granddaughter, Amanda, she was born in Mineola, NY and lived her married life in Bayville.
"My Mom was an active bowler, 4H Leader, member of the American Legion Robert H. Spittel Post 1285 Auxiliary. In addition, she was involved in the Bayville Senior Citizens and St. Gertrude's Church", said her daughter, in tribute. Miriam is pre-deceased by her husband, Henry C. Flower, her sisters, Ruth Ryeburg, Charlotte Miller and brother, William Heagney.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June, 14 at 11am at the gravesite in Bayville Cemetery. All who knew her and would like to join the family are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Foundation, or Albany Hospice.
