I met Kimmy online, about 2012, while we were both book bloggers, we both shared our passion for books, authors and literary events. Kimmy inspired readers even among the portuguese book bloggers community. She will always be remembered as a joyfull, sensible and intelligent friend. Rest in peace my friend, you were a brave warrior.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Rocha family. Kim was such a special person -- always bringing people together, always smiling, always caring -- and she was LOVED by so many. I'll miss her hugs & her brightness forever. Although I can't make it to her Mass, I'll be thinking of everyone she loved and cherished.

I will always cherish our years of friendship. We met at Book Expo of America in 2012 at the Javits Center in NYC. From that day and on we became great friends. I loved all the author and reader events Kim hosted through the years including her holiday parties at her favorite Long Island restaurant. Kim will always be missed and loved my New York Chica I called affectionately and she called me her Jersey Girl. Rest in Peace my dear sweet friend. Love you always Kim. Sending heartfelt condolences and healing prayers to Kim’s family and friends.

May your memories bring you peace and comfort. Rest easy my friend ✨️ I met Kim at a Rodney Atkins concert at Westbury music fair. We shared a couple of beers in the parking lot before the concert. ( she told me it was her first beer ) As with everyone who meets Kim it was an instant friendship. Many country concerts later. Even traveling to Newark to see Alan Jackson, one of her favorites. Sneaking in a professional camera taking amazing pictures from our 7th row seats. Introducing me to line dancing ( I don't have rhythm so that was hard lol) Kim had a love of her children, she always spoke about them when we talked and her love of life and adventures. I know we will see each other again on the other side someday. I also know that she will always be by her children's side but in a different way now.

Truly going to miss seeing your smiling face pop up on my newsfeed. We met way back when you were Jason's manager at the bull riding in rodeo. He says "You should meet my friend Kim she's awesome ". And you were. You are. Forever my friend. Tired of God taking the good people. Love you Kimmie.

Kimmie, my heart hurts! It was such a delight meeting you and finding a kindred spirit who loved books like you did…and meeting so many readers through Book Obsessed Chicks. I have dozens of memories from the beach bashes under the mushrooms to holiday parties with amazing food. Your generosity is unparalleled. Know that you won’t be forgotten.

Kim invited me to a book club meeting which was so fun I continued to go. Entertaining evenings with authors, of which one was so shocking none of us could believe it happened. Lots of food, laughs, and new friends. You will be missed. Love you so much.
