Genovese, Leonard A. – on Nov. 1, 2025, age 91, of Lloyd Harbor, NY. Beloved husband of Geraldine F. Happily married for 68 years. Loving Father of Leonard G. (Helen), John J. (Laurie), Gerald G. (Jennifer) and Mary M. Caldwell (Tobias). Devoted grandfather of Leonard (Abagail), Dominic, Thomas (Kristin), Peter (Orlando), Michael (Christina), Geraldine Doyle (Jack), Jillian Lodato (William), John, Jason Turk, Isabelle, Victoria, Julianna, Allison Caldwell, Ryan Caldwell, Erin Caldwell, and Bryn Caldwell (Matthew). Proud great grandfather of Brayden Caldwell, Tobias Caldwell, Anthony, Alexander, Claire, Vincent, and Layla. Dear brother of the late Joseph (Frances Wangberg) and Marie Gross (Donald). Cherished brother in law of Nancy Angelo (the late Gordon), George Meringolo (Nicole), Salvatore Meringolo (the late Margaret) and Joseph Meringolo (Cathy). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Leonard was the esteemed President and CEO of Genovese Drug Stores, Inc. A man of deep faith, he was devoted to the Lord throughout his life. Known for his great sense of humor, he was loved by so many. He cherished time with his family, boating on Shelter Island, and traveling. Leonard was a profoundly giving person who always placed the needs of others before his own. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Visiting Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South St., Oyster Bay, NY on Thursday, Nov. 6th  from 4-8 p.m.. Funeral Mass St. Patrick RC Church, Huntington, NY, Friday Nov. 7th at 10:45 a.m. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery.
