Obituary of Doris H. DeQuinzio

DeQuinzio, Doris H. of Bayville, NY has passed peacefully on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 at 90 years old, surrounded by her loving family.  Doris was a cherished mother of Carole (Jack) and Suzanne (Paul), loving aunt of Neil (Laura), Arthur, and the late Richard. Caring grandmother of Christopher (Natalie), Sean (Allie), Kimberly (Robbie), Jennifer (Daniel), and Dana (Timothy), a great grandmother to Alexa, Abigail, Robbie, Eliana, Alana, Grayson, and Bennett, and a great aunt to Neil Joseph, Ella, and Lily.  

Doris was born in Manhattan, NY in 1935 and later moved to Locust Valley, NY where she worked as a hospital administrator for Good Samaritan Hospital.  In later years, one of her greatest joys was working for the Locust Valley Library. However, her absolute greatest joy was being surrounded by her family.  Doris enjoyed many close friendships as well and lived her life with a gentle spirit and a love that will continue to guide us.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gertrude RC Church, 28 School Street, Bayville, NY on Thursday, 11:00 a.m. Interment is Private.
