Born on August 9, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, John carried his Brooklyn roots with pride throughout his life.



John was the beloved husband of Theresa Nortwich; loving father of Lori (Joseph) and Richie (Alicia); cherished grandfather—known affectionately as "Baba"—to Alexa, Kerryann, Natali, Colleen, John, and Jonathan; beloved brother of Walter (Rosemarie); beloved brother-in-law of Josephine Bradley; and a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.



Family meant everything to John. He loved deeply, laughed often, and possessed a quick wit and unmatched sense of humor that could light up any room. His warmth, kindness, and lighthearted spirit made everyone feel welcome, valued, and at home.



John will be remembered for his unwavering love, generous heart, and the joy and laughter he brought to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
