I have been associated with Mike and his family for almost fifty years as he lead their business in serving the New York and New Jersey development and construction industry.
Whenever I was lucky enough to have his involvement with a project I knew his commitment to its success was unquestionable.
But beyond the work environment I was blessed to be considered a friend who enjoyed his presence and character both on the golf course and on any other occasion.
Mike you will be missed but never forgotten.

Mara, Susan, Mike and family you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I’m happy I had the opportunity to know Mike as I did, and to have spend a lot of time watching golf with him. I also was lucky to have spent a lot of time enjoying your family with him.
May he rest peacefully, and may he watch over each you all proud, and smiling at the wonderful family he created and was a part of.
Mike rest in piece. May your memory always be a blessing to your family and to all those whose lives you touched!!

For 25 years, Mike came in early to exercise three days a week. He kept that routine faithfully, never missing unless there was a real reason. He was the toughest man I have ever known.
I will miss him deeply. Especially our Islander chats, his ability to fix anything, and his stories. I am forever grateful to have known him and his family. I am so sorry for this enormous loss to his family.

All of us at Northeastern will miss Mike dearly. His kindness and strength made him a beloved leader. His determination to excel in whatever he set his mind to—at the office, on the golf course, or in building lifelong friendships—was only surpassed by his love of Susan and his family. What an incredible person and a tremendous loss for all of us.
With much love,
Maureen, Drew, and Charlotte Mayer
