Paone, Karolina – Resident of Oyster Bay, NY since 2002, passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family and close friend, in the early morning hours of February 12, 2026.

Karolina, nee Meier, aged 90, born on July 23rd,1935 in Weng – Landkreis Landshut – Germany.

Daughter of Georg Meier, born in Raschen – Weichshofen - Landkreis Dingolfing - Germany and Karolina Meier nee Schindlbeck – born in Gerabach bei Bayerbach – Landkreis Landshut - Germany.

Sister to the late Maria Muzalski – nee Schindlbeck of Weng - Germany, and Erna Strine – nee Meier of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Aunt to Donald and Sandy Strine, Great Aunt to Lance Strine; Aunt to Karolina Burtner and Great Aunt to Michael Burtner.

Wife, of 26 years, to the late Gerald Paone formerly of Brooklyn, New York.

Mother to Lucian Paone, and Mother-in-law to Bernice Paone – nee Busekroos of Oyster Bay, New York

Devoted and doting Grandmother to three cherished Grandchildren; Lucian Gerald Paone; Arianna Paone and Karina Paone of Oyster Bay, New York

Funeral Service: Catholic Mass and burial held in private.

Interment: Saint Charles Cemetery – Farmingdale, New York.
