Obituary of Ann N. Miller

Ann Miller passed away at 9:07 p.m. on July 9, 2026, in Long Island, New York, surrounded by the love of the many lives she touched. She was a vibrant, generous, and unforgettable woman whose energy, warmth, and joy made her truly the life of the party.

Ann was the beloved wife of Joel Miller and the loving mother of Bryan Alexander and Amy Alexander; Jessica Alexander-Frklic and Ben Frklic; Kari Alexander and Eric Gatto; Chris Miller; Ashley Reavy and Ryan Reavy; Laura Alexander; Alexa Miller; and Nick Miller and Lana Miller. She was godmother to her nephew Dylan Win and her niece Tyra Win. She was also a proud and devoted grandmother to the late Logan Alexander, Matthew Alexander, Grayson Alexander, Lucas Alexander, Elliot Alexander, Parker Reavy, Lily Alexander, Emory Reavy, Boyd Miller, Addison Reavy, and Rory Miller.

She is survived by her mother, Lily Win; her siblings, Steve Win and Richard Win and Haeyong Win; and many relatives, friends, and coworkers whose lives were changed by her love and generosity. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Win, and her godmother, Nesta Saw.

Ann lived by the words, “Choose your life, don’t let life choose for you.” She overcame immense obstacles through tireless work ethic, determination, and grace, building a life of success while never losing sight of what mattered most to her: the people she loved. Her capacity for love was unparalleled, and she gave that love freely and unconditionally.

She made people feel seen, valued, and special. Whether family, friend, or coworker, each person who knew Ann was touched by her in a unique way. She gave not only financially, but also with her time, presence, and attention — traveling thousands of miles to be with those she loved, never complaining, and always thriving in the joy of togetherness.

Ann loved her family deeply and without condition. She forgave easily, remembered every birthday, every school event, and every meaningful moment in the lives of those she cared for. She adored her parents and loved them fiercely, speaking with them daily and carrying that bond closely in her heart.

She also loved to sing, loved 80s music, loved food, and especially loved feeding people. She was happiest when she was giving, celebrating, and taking care of others. She always wanted to pay for everything, not out of obligation, but out of the pure joy she found in loving people well.

Ann will be remembered for her enormous heart, her strength, her generosity, her laughter, and the way she made everyone around her feel like family. She is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Family will receive friends Thursday July 16, from 12-3 p.m. at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, N. of Rt. 2), Mentor, Ohio.
