Thanks for being such a big part of a really great childhood!.. So many fun memories from the late 70's, early 80's. All the boat trips, the camping trips, the road trips... playing ringolevio on Bell Lane for hours with the Wrights, the Murrays, and all the kids that lived in the area.. Who could forget the infamous walk across the frozen bay! maybe that was 1977? omg remember the helicopter and the police car waiting for us all when we got back?! There were trips to Bear Mountain and West Point. - and the trip up to visit you at Brockport was an adventure for sure! The memories are endless. . .
Although our adult lives took us in different directions, I do know that you were a good man, a good son, brother, father, friend, and a true FDNY hero. I'm sure God saved you a good spot up there. One day I will see you again ... and we can catch up. love you. xoxo
To the Doyle Family,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family at this difficult time. My cousin was also taken to soon from 9/11 cancer. Your son is the bravest of the brave. May you find peace in all your memories and knowing that he was a hero. God Bless you all today and always.

You prepared me for a lot in life but I'm not sure that anything could have prepared me for this. There's so much that I never thanked you for that I should have. Thanks for teaching me right from wrong and to do the right thing even when nobody's watching. Thanks for the sense of humor, the same one that you kept even in your last days with us. Thanks for making me fall in love with the fire service that you yourself loved so much and for teaching me the ways of the firehouse (it saved me a lot of suffering and embarrassment my first year with the vollies). I'm proud to wear the name Doyle on the back of my jacket every run we turn out on. Thanks for always supporting me in whatever I did. Even though our time together might have been cut short, I feel that you left me capable to do what's right and to make you proud. I know you'll be there watching over me throughout the good times and the bad and there's nothing I wouldn't do to hear "love you bud" or even "you're a nitwit" again. Stay out of trouble. Love you
Dear Doyle family,

The 9/11 attacks on the Unites States.

And the works of their hands bring us all merit in heaven.

Civilians and professionals,
The trained and the untrained,
In every age and in every land,

Dear Doyle Family,
You were all part of my growing up, but Eddie was a special friend. My heart aches for all of you... too young, but SO brave, and such a Patriot, good heart, and awesome public servant. Words can't express how sorry I am for your loss. Prayers for you all.

A piece of me is gone forever my hero, my best friend and now my angel I know you will watch over all of us! I would have fought for you forever. I am sitting here not believing this at all. Not a day will go by that I won't think of you. You have made all of us better people especially my family! We had the best of times growing up and as you know I always looked up to you. Thanks for letting me tag along all those years! Life will never be the same! "Let's Go" I love you big brother! Your brother Kenny

Rest Easy Eddie...
When I am called to duty, God
whenever flames may rage,
give me the strength to save some life
Whatever be its age.
Help me to embrace a little child
before it’s too late,
or some older person
from the horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert
and hear the weakest shout,
and quickly and efficiently
to put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling
and give the best in me,
to guard my neighbor
and protect his property.
and if according to my fate
I am to lose my life,
Please bless with your protecting hand
my children and my wife.

Uncle Eddie I'll forever miss you but I'll never be without you. I know you'll always be watching over me. Protecting and guiding me through life. You were taken too soon but you put up a stronger fight than anyone I know. I'm so thankful to have had you as an uncle and I wouldn't trade a single memory with you for the world. Love you always
