Obituary of Joseph H. Carl

Carl, Joseph Herman "Buster" - died Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Bullhead City, Arizona. He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on April 2, 1924. A seventeen-year resident of Palm Gardens, Nevada, Mr. Carl spent most of his adult life in and around Long Island, New York. Mr. Carl was a World War II Veteran, Having served with the United States Navy. A retired bar-owner, Joe loved his horse-racing and playing Bingo! Mr. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Daisy and Joseph Carl. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Jane Carl of Palm Gardens, Nevada: two sons, Joseph Carl and Joseph Nix, both of New York: step-son, John Leath of New York: sister Peggy Carl of New York, four granddaughters, and his beloved felines, Adam and Eve. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South Street, Oyster Bay, New York with burial to follow at Pine Hollow Cemetery, Oyster Bay, New York.
