So sorry to hear about Margaret. We worked together in the ICU at Einstein. She was one of my mentors. A great nurse and a great person. Margaret was the first person I saw on 9/11 at Einstein once we realized the tower went down. We just embraced. My prayer and thoughts are with you and Maragret.

I was blessed to know Margaret and work with her in the ICU at Einstein Hospital. She mentored me and taught me do much about critical care, especially about the open hearts. She was the kindest and most gentle and loving person. Even after she transferred out of the ICU, her work often took her to the ICU and we had time to catch up on life. When I retired, she and our former head nurse (and now Director of Nursing) Justine Huffaker gave me a plaque on which they both recounted memories of the ICU. She was very gracious in her comments, and I treasure this gift. It is a tremendous personal loss and a loss to the profession of nursing. My condolences to her family and friends

I will miss Margarets sense of balance and humor - along with her beautiful smile and soulful soul. Strong and brave while enduring her own family losses along her journey in the recent past. No doubt she will be shining her warm love down on those she left behind - until we meet again. Much love to her family - and thank you for sharing her with us during her working hours. By far, the most genuine and caring nurse I have met in my 25 years as a fellow nurse. The best of the best.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss and send my warmest thoughts and prayers to you, the family. Margaret touched so many of us with her special brand of caring and compassio.
I was fortunate enough to have worked with Margaret at Kings Harbor Nursing Home and then again at Montefiore CMO. She was a fierce advocate for her patients, always going the extra step to insure their safety and best outcome. Not only a wonderful nurse, Margaret was an incredible human being. She was so very loved by all who knew her and will be missed beyond words.
Warmest regards,
Antonia Ferrer
