I am still and was when it happened so saddened at the loss of my friend and brother. From the moment we met 39 years ago it was as if we were born of the same cloth. He was always the bright spot in everyone's day. He could make you feel glad when you were sad. He always would encourage you to strive to better than you ever thought you could. I remember when he first met a clutch Irishman and took him in as a friend, took that young kid with 2 left feet and taught him how to hustle. He would encourage that same Irishman to chase the girl of his dreams who has become my wife. I know Frank is looking down on us with that infectious smile of his and telling us he had a great life and lived it his way. I give my continued condolences to Renata, Joseph, Maryann and the rest of his family and friends. Frank was an amazing friend and person. I will miss him the rest of my days.

My Dear Brother -
As today is one month you are gone, I told you this morning that I would dedicate my day to you. I promised you no tears but I can't seem to keep that promise. I miss you so very much. Please know this - As long as a persons name is mentioned, they are not gone...You, "Frankie Boy", are Never gone . Love, "Lyn"

Uncle Frankie, words are not sufficient enough to discuss how much you mean to me, and how indescribably amazing you are... but I'm going to try regardless. You were an exceptional man, loved by all who were lucky enough to know you. You were one of my best friends and biggest role models. You were more than an uncle to me; you were a friend, a confidante... you were essentially my third parent. You taught me how to live my life with courage and strength, and to always pursue my passions. You were a coach through and through, teaching me and many others invaluable lessons both on and off the field. You always supported me, and prompted me to be the best person that I can be. I will always look fondly upon our memories together, such as: hanging out on your couch after school to watch T.V.; telling you corny jokes so you would roll your eyes and call me a "wise guy"; joking around at holiday dinners at the corner of the table; fishing together; you teaching me how to play Bocce in your backyard; suntanning with you in your backyard; attending father daughter dances with you (where you proceeded to dance like Quasimodo); traveling to my sporting events, as well as those of my siblings, together; you teaching me about the concept of interest by taking my quarter and giving me back a dollar at the end of the week; attending sporting events with you, like yankee baseball games and Giants football games (I hit that man with my towel accidentally, I swear); filming game footage for your football teams; using a slip’n’slide to learn how to slide in softball; all the games, performances, recitals and plays at which you were a vocal cheerleader; and countless other little shared memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. In this photograph, you bought me my first bike. Soon thereafter, I begged you to take off my training wheels because my older sister was learning to ride without them. You encouraged me to take off my training wheels as long as I promised to never be afraid to fall off the bike, and to always get back on it. I apply this lesson to all aspects of my life. I can only hope that one day, I can look back and hope to have positively impacted as many lives as you. I love you so much and I'll miss you every second of every day. Rest in peace.

To one of the best men I knew: Uncle Frankie, you were my uncle by blood, but acted as a second father by choice. You were my uncle, my godfather, my mentor, my coach, my best friend and a constant shoulder to lean on. You were too brilliant for your own good, stubborn, fun-loving, caring, hilarious, wild-spirited, and uniquely you. You changed my life for the better, always pushing me to be the best that I could be. I could never thank you enough for all that you have done for me, but thanks for so many more intangible things for which I'll never be able to find the right words. Thank you for always being there and for being part of every milestone, through the laughs, tears, bumps and bruises, championship games, recitals and everything in between. I think about you in everything that I do and want nothing more than to make you proud. You're still with me in my heart every day. You'll be there for all the good and all the bad for the rest of my life. I promise. I'm honored to have known someone as amazing as you.

Where do I start, I was extremely saddened and disturbed to hear of your loss! I have loved Frankie from the minute I met him 37 years ago. He was that friend whom you didn't speak with for years but when you caught up it was as if time stopped and it had been minutes. The intimacy, comradeship, everything we had shared and had grown was instantly in place. I will never give up that special place in my heart. Joseph and Linda I love the both of you as well, Renata never having met, if Frankie loved you I do as well. I will keep you all in my prayers. Love and Respect Ruben

We are so sorry for your loss. Loved my cousin Frankie - he was a good person and the life of the party and always reminded me of my father (my father, Domenic, died 10 years to the day of Frankie's passing). This is so sad, and he was too young to leave...
Wish we could be with you. Our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with you through this sad time.
Love you and miss you all,
Peggy and Bill

My thoughts and prayers go out to Frank's family and friends. I met Coach Frank several years ago when he was coaching my son for the OBB Generals. I immediately felt a connection with the man; he reminded me of my high school football coaches at Chaminade. His no-nonsense and tough demeanor masked what I believed to be a genuine love for the game and a genuine desire to help the kids of our community be the best they could possibly be. The character Coach Frank taught our kids transcended the football field. Though I was not close to Frank, to me he was a man of discipline and integrity. He was good to my son, I respected him and I will miss him. Rest in peace Coach Frank.
