Dearest Cousin Stephanie and Steven:
So sad to hear about aunt “Dolly.”
Although distance, time, work, and life itself have
kept as all apart, remember…. we are still family.
We share so many great memories, not to mention some pretty
crazy DNA.
Aunt Dolly was always so kind to me, and if I think hard enough, I can
hear her unique laughter when she was with my dad and my mom.
She truly was, as cousin MaryAnn said, the last of the “Mohicans.”
I take comfort, and so should you, knowing that Uncle Al, cousin Alfred,
my mom and dad, and of course, Aunt Anna, and the whole south Brooklyn crew
( Uncle Chris, aunt Josie, cousin Christopher) are all sitting at God’s table having a blast.
Love, Cousin Joseph, and Rebecca.
P.S. Every morning when I put on my shoes I still think of cousin Alfred
because he taught me how to tie my shoes when I was four years old.
So, you see, we are all blessed and connected.
