Thompson, Cornell H. – on Aug. 2, 2018, age 69, of East Norwich, NY, and Newport Richey, FL. Beloved husband & best friends of Jo Ann for 41 years. Loving father of Dawn (Steve), Billy, Michelle (Rich). Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Allison, Lucas, Lily and Brandon. Dear brother-in-law of Lou-Ann, Tracy, Tom, Gary and Susan. Special uncle of Susan, Jennifer, Thomas, Brian, Katie and their families. Also survived by many relatives and friends. He will be missed dearly by his furry companions Abbie and Marley and his extended family Chris and Lexi. He was a devoted fireman of 49 years and Ex-Chief of the East Norwich Volunteer Fire Co. 1.
