My mom was my friend and I loved her so much!
We fought like friends and moms and daughters do but we always knew we would be there for each other and we were!
It has been very hard for me to look at this site or to post anything so I will only say - mom was a beautiful lady inside and out!
I would also like to thank Louis of oyster bay funeral home for his care of my mom and to his detail with all the services, I couldn’t have ask for anything more.
I would also like to thank my cousins and my friends for all there support through this difficult time.
Mom and I are very appreciative -
Love to all

Aunt Vi:
We miss you so much already. You were my Godmother and always a second mother to me. I know you and my Mom are finally together again, as you were in life.
As I grew up, I could always count on you to be there for me. You always went out of your way to take care of me. We spent so many Holidays, vacation time and family time together, the memories are countless. I will always cherish them.
When Gail came into my life, you welcomed her and built your own special relationship with her. You did the same with Michael and Eric, attending their Bar Mitzvahs and Weddings. And recently you were able to rejoice in the births of my grandchildren, especially our little princess, Alyssa.
You were a special person and will always remain in my family's thoughts and prayers.
You often told me my Mom came to you in your dreams. Now when she comes to me, I am sure you will be by her side. Love to see you both again. Love you always.

Since I was 8 yrs old, you were Mrs Bruno, “mom”, and for the last 5 years Vi. When I was a child, you included me in your vacations in Bayville and you taught me how to waterski. You always made me feel a part of your family. You encouraged me and gave me hope when times were hard. When I needed help, you helped me. You prayed for me and Reggie when we were sick. Your faith and loyalty was a power of example to us all. The joy we shared laughing together warms my heart. Such a beautiful, caring, generous soul. Such a strong, powerful, woman, as are you, Angela. Thank you “mom” from the bottom of my heart, where I will keep you forever. I love you. Sayer does too!

Aunt Vi... the youngest of many; a calming force to those that left before; a matriarch by virtue of fate; loving, inspirational, encouraging, helping with optimistic joy projected; then her turn to receive, rather than give, from her daughter, Angela; a special place in our heart will always be hosting loving memories; as she hosts the same for all, especially for her daughter who travelled with her all the way!
Love forever, Steve and Celeste
