Charlie you will be sorely missed by your fellow Legionaires and the youth of the Bayville/Locust Valley communities. Your dedication to the High School Scholarship, Boys State and Boy Scouts of America programs was always one hundred and ten percent. "Semper Fi" my friend.

Dear Fanny, Vicky, Liz and Brandon and families,
We are truly deeply saddened by this sudden departure of Charlie! He always had a calming effect on everyone around him. We will miss him deeply.
God looked around His garden and He saw an empty place. He looked down upon this earth and saw how tired Charlie was. He put His arms around him and lifted Charlie to rest. God always take the best for His garden. God saw that the road was rough and the hills hard to climb so He closed his weary eyelids, and whispered, "Peace be yours."
It breaks our heats to lose Charlie on earth but he didn't go alone. A part of all of us went with him the day God called him home.
Charlie loved fishing and enjoyed fishing in God's lakes and streams. When he cast his line, it was like casting his cares to God and knowing that He'll answer prayers.
He's left great and warm memories which are tucked forever in our heart. We will treasure these memories like gold.
Let's take a hold of God's promise of comfort as He is wipes our tears and give us peace.
Grace and peace,
Bill, Wendy, Jason & Selina Lee

Charlie was much more than a colleague, he became a friend and mentor to those who knew him. He was, always, ready to listen and guide. He liked to have fun and his smile will remain in my memory. He loved his family and spoke about them, often. His grandchildren were his life. It was a blessing to have known you. Charlie, I will miss you, greatly.

It is with incredible sadness that I learned of Charlie’s passing today. Charlie was an incredibly valued part of the EBY family and team for a very long time. This Tuesday would have been Charlie’s 18th year at EBY. In speaking for all of his colleagues at work, he will be forever missed, His professionalism, dedication, knowledge, leadership and most important his Unrelenting sense of duty, honor, valor and friendship will never be forgotten. We will sorely miss our friend. Rest In Peace.
