I was fortunate to have been friends with Susan for almost 40 years dating back to 1981. We've shared many memories together working at restaurants, The Rusty Scupper , 56 fighter group and Cafe Testarossa just to name a few..Our thoughts go out to the close friends and family during this difficult time. Susan was a devoted and faithful friend during good times and bad and will be greatly missed..

Suzan, it just isn't the same without you. You had knowledge of many different subjects. Your love of animals was like no one else I know. I will miss your stories of crazy neighbors, retail shopping experiences, and when you met Steven Tyler. RIP Suzan, you will be missed. Love, Diane

Susan (and sometimes with a "z"), thank you for your friendship, thank you for trusting me and thank you for all the lessons you have taught me. Since 2007, you have been waiting for me every morning to come into work to tell me some crazy story that came out of walking Nate, or visiting Mark or his not so smart Martini, or ta;king with Suzette, or the wack landlord in Hicksville, or your brother Bill who became my friend out of this, your friend in Florida with the german shepherd, Pete of course (the talker.....the fast talker lol) and 56 Fighter Club Arlene who came from back in the day and still always understands it all. Your friends at Baci will miss you I'm sure ("ping"). Your hairdresser, I won't forget her either. And the multiple vets you've weeded through. Our last talk, you will be here on this earth with all of us in our heart and in our minds. Your team at Spiegel will miss you, it's not the same, and we're sitting quiet. I so enjoyed our visits together in your house and the stories you shared, your love of animals is something that instantly bonded us. Thank you for trusting me with Jimini (who we call Hotdog) I love this little guy. I loved you, Peter loved you, Ron loved you and all of your girls Stephanie, Marylou, Diane, Maggie. I will visit Cape Elizabeth, ME and I will bring you with me when I do. "I always love a good visit"

My world became much darker this week with the loss of a best friend, Suzan (she liked the "Z"in her name). Suzan was a kind and generous soul always willing to help the needy, for both people and animals. Always the life of a party, and everyone enjoyed her company. Whether we were blasting the stereo in the living room and dancing, or just walking her dachshund, Nate, it was always the best of times. I miss her dearly, but she will forever live within my heart.

I have so many fond memories of Susan and will miss her dearly. We were great friends for a long time and met in the early 80s. I’ll miss her her laugh and love of animals (especially Nate!). Even when she got sick she was very positive about life. She was very proud of her family especially her brother. God bless Susan.
