Danny and I were so very sorry to hear of Vinnie's passing. He was such a good man. A true gentleman, he touched so many lives in, so many ways. I loved to cheer him on when he marched in the Memorial Day parade. A patriot, who dearly loved his country. A proud member of the "greatest generation." He will be missed by all who knew him and those whose lives he touched. Our sincere condolences to his whole family. You are in our prayers. Marion and Danny LaMonica

Very sad to say goodbye to Vinny. He was so important and so helpful to me, my sister Dolores and her daughter Emily when we first moved to Oyster Bay. When we moved in, she couldn't get her boxspring up the stairs (it was too big), so he made her a platform from an old "Keep Christ in Christmas" sign. When we needed some candles, he brought us old ones from the Church. He was so resourceful, and took care of us. He was a friend and a father figure, and always a pleasure to see and chat with. This is a great loss for so many people because he touched so many people's lives. My deepest condolences to you all. May he rest in eternal peace. I uploaded some photos from the Memorial Day parades from 2009 & 2011.
