One couldn't help but smile in remembering Lou Adams. When he first became ill several years ago it left him sometimes fighting for the right words to use in speaking with friends and family. He never gave up and was always determined to tell an entire story often with hand gestures and facial expressions to clarify meaning. Watching Lou fight through challenges like these gave insight to the man he was to us all - kind, generous, faithful to his religion and family but above all tenacious in spirit with his "can do attitude" In face I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he was still giving Lucinda direction on how to manage his lovely home in Oyster Bay now that's he's departed. We will always remember him fondly and hold a special place for him in our hearts.

Thomas Campbell said "To live in the hearts of those who love us, is not to die". We know Lou is at peace in the arms of the Lord. We know this because of the faith Lou had. Lou will remain in our hearts and prayers always. We were truly blessed to call him our friend.

Uncle Lou - we already miss you. When you and Aunt Marie became friends with my grandma and grandpa, you started a bond that has now been passed down two generations (and counting). I hope you and grandpa are having a great time catching up now that you are reunited. We love you so much!
