I had the pleasure of working with Anne at Bayville intermiate School. She had a great seance of humor. and she was always kind and caring to all the children.
I also feel blessed to have her crossing guard post 201B.

Dear Kathleen, Anthony, Lynn, & Richard,
I’m so sorry for your profound loss. I may have only been the sister of your (Kathleen) best friend, but your mother still treated me as part of the family. I was always touched by her thoughtfulness and looked forward to my Christmas card every year. It’s unfortunate that we can’t be by your side during this difficult time. Please know that you are in the hearts and prayers of everyone who was lucky enough to have known that wonderful woman you call mom.
With Deepest Sympathy and Love,
Toni (Serio) Castelli

Kathleen, Lynn, Richard and Anthony- l feel your loss as my own as your mother was my second mother. I have endless memories of sitting at her kitchen table eating cold cuts, having dinners in her home and of course getting yelled at. Mrs. V. Was not only a staple in my life but in the community around her. Her smile and ease is something I won’t forget - nor is her kindness and generosity. I hope your memories of good times with her help carry you through the sadness you are feeling now. All my love to you and the entire family - Caryn xo

Mrs V was my second mom. Her generosity, kindness and welcoming manner is something I will always remember. I can still hear her yelling, “Kathleen” I am sure we (Shari, Caryn and me) drove her crazy as we were always there. We drank all of her famous ice tea! Til this day I put fresh mint in my tea because of Mrs V. Mrs V started me on a lifelong passion for rescuing animals. A stray had kittens in her backyard and she was able to grab one.I had Emily for 22 happy years. Mrs V was funny and I loved her laugh.
My heart is sad and hurting and I am crying with all of you. Lynn, Richard, Anthony and Kathy I am sending you all hugs and my deepest sympathy. May the memories of your mom help in the grieving process. To everyone else in the family embrace each other, reminisce and know how blessed you were to be loved by Mrs V❤️ Rest in piece Mrs V, you will live on in so many❤️

I am so very sad about the passing of Anne, although she will forever be Mrs Ventrella to me. She was one of the most beautiful, generous, warm, and caring people I will ever know. She created a home filled with warmth, love and laughter that was our home base for so many years. When I think of her, I hear her laugh, I see her smile and I can almost taste the best iced tea I’ve ever had. My life is richer in so many ways because she and Mr Ventrella were always there for me. Lynn, Richard, Anthony, and Kathleen, thank you for sharing your mom with us and our prayers are with you. With love, Shari
