Eddy was a great guy. I met him in 1986 while he was President of the Nassau County Bar Association. I was a young African American Attorney sitting in the jury box at District Court waiting for my case to be called. He came and sat next to me introducing himself. He said, he was on a mission to bring diversity to NCBA. He said it was time for him to stop going to meetings with nearly “all White guys”. “We need you to join.” His frankness and candor that day encouraged me to join. I did. Without Eddy’s mentoring, I may never have realized the joy and camaraderie we share at NCBA as well as become the 105th President of the Association. Simply put, God Bless Eddy for all he has done to brighten the life of so many. The work he has done speaks for him.

So many fabulous memories shared with Ed and Lynn on the golf course, Nassau Bar Association events and bbqs at their Syosset home.
My prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. It greatly saddens me that I can not be with you all this Saturday to celebrate Ed’s life.

Ed was a great guy and he and Lynn a beautiful couple. I have all good memories of Ed as a
classmate, a musician, a sports enthusiast. Joan and I have him in our prayers.

So very sorry to learn of Ed's passing. He was my first "boss" as an attorney and a fabulous mentor and great guy. He and Lynn held wonderful Christmas parties at the Oyster Bay office. I am so glad I had a chance to work with him and gain from his considerable experience. He was a gracious and kind person also. He introduced me to the family of the Nassau County Bar Association during his tenure as President and I had the privilege of becoming Dean of the Nassau Academy of Law and serving on the Board of Directors. My heartful prayers for Lynn and the family at this time.

So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I had the privilege of being partners with him for a short time. We had a lot in common being old time Oyster Bay boys - albeit some years apart. Both St. Dominic grads and Past Grand Knights of the Oyster Bay Knights of Columbus.
Ed was a fine lawyer and the quintessential gentleman. Prayers and condolences to his family!
