Maura, Colleen, Eileen, Sean and Tim: I was so sad to learn of your Dad’s passing last night! Many memories came back as my sister, Kathy chatted this week. I remember how he conveniently planned sales calls to bring Maura and me home from Marywood occasionally!!
He always had such a positive attitude and smile on his face!! And your parents’ marriage was an example for all to witness and emulate!!!
As I watched the video I saw so much love in his eyes for family members and friends!! When he was called home I am sure Mom was there at the pearly gates to give him a kiss and say what took you so long!!
Again I am so sorry for this HUGE loss but we all know he is in a better place always watching over you!!!!!

Pop, You welcomed me into your family 28 years ago with open and loving arms, and were a constant source of support and guidance as Tim and I raised our children. We were so fortunate to live right around the corner for all these years, and were able to spend so much time with you and Mary Margaret. You and I shared many a conversation about books, crock-pot recipes, faith, our Irish heritage....I enjoyed listening to your stories about your life experiences, and have definitely learned so many important lessons from you. You were a constant presence in the lives of Conor, Liam, Catherine, and Meghan, always keeping tabs on whatever was going on in their lives, and offering words of love and encouragement . Thank you for being such a wonderful grandfather to them. You have made a permanent positive impact on their character. I will be forever grateful for your prayers and support as my own parents went on to their reward in heaven.
Many years ago you told me to "make sure to always celebrate the good times "- baptisms, birthdays, graduations, etc - because there will be a fair share of sad times in life. While this is certainly a sad time for all whom you leave behind, I am sure you are celebrating with the angels your reunion with your beloved Mary Margaret. Thank you for everything you were to us.
Watch over us, Pop, as you Rest in Peace.
Love you,
Susan
