King,
"Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak whispers the over-fraught heart & bids it break"-Shakespeare
My heart is shattered. I know you will never walk thru the door again, but you will always & forever be a part of my soul. Watch over us & protect us. I promise to right all wrongs & make you proud! Until we meet again....Queen

Gary did more than take care of us here on our little island, he was a friend. Whether the subject was Italian wine, the ocean or his "Dude" Derrick, he was passionate about the good things in life. Gary was a friend to me and larger than life to my three small children. If a tree was down and closing the road they knew Gary would free us from captivity.
I still can't believe there wasn't time for that trip to Barrollo...

"Sherm"...I have struggled to find the right words to write to express to you and Carolyn the sadness and helplessness I felt during your transition home. Although you were not a man of many words, the few you spoke let me always know you cared for my mom and I and that spoke volumes. And when my dad was sick you took the time to write a beautiful letter to him. You cared for him too, and for that I thank you. I know you know never worry about my "sister" for I will ALWAYS be there for her. I just wish God didn't have to take you home to make you whole again. Give my love to everyone up there, and I'll see you around "for sure!" xo RIP My Friend, Love The "Cardinal"

Dear Carol, I posted on Facebook, but I'm not sure if it found its way back to you. I am so very sorry for your loss and the loss of everyone who knew your Gary. I will always smile when I think of the two of you, and I will repeat that Gary was one of a very few true gentlemen I've met in my life. He certainly left his mark in our world. Krista

My loving Sister and to you Derrick. I am So sorry!, Gary, love you my Brother, and already miss you. I will never forget you, as I always looked up to you as a real Man. I will never forget the times we shared, you taught me a lot about life through your eyes. It always made stop and think, but then I would always say "wow" your right! I loved that you were unique in so many ways, and I respected that. You where the one that introduced me to the love of a motorcycle when you drove up on your 650 Triumph Motorcycle. And I can remember you always having "mans best friend" by your side when you would walk to our house. And I would ask, "were did you get him" and you always responded with whatever dog it was, "He found me, and hasn't' left my side. Even "mans best friend" knew how special you are! They made the right choice. And I will never forget your favorite phrase when you were asked something you either wanted to keep private or just didn't feel like explaining. It was "Because I got it like that"! Well, Love you Brother and always will. My Sincere Condolences go out to all the Sherman Family. You are all in my Prayers, God Bless

Carolyn, Derrick and the Sherman Family, our deepest sympathy. I hope this passage gives you somewhat comfort in your grief.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. John 10:
27-29.
always in our hearts, always in our prayers, Domenic & Gail Roseto
