Le Guelaff, Theophile – on Jan. 16, 2022, age 93, of East Norwich, NY, formerly of Jackson Heights, NY. "Theo" was born on October 8, 1928 in Gourin, France, where he met his beloved wife Yvette, of 62 years, before emigrating to the United States in 1952.

Theo was loving father, grandfather uncle, brother, and friend to many. His love for his family was only matched by his work ethic. Theo was a professional chef, which carried over to many delicious family meals at home. After a successful career, which included proprietorship of Chez Napoleon in New York City, he could be found helping in the kitchen at his son's bakery. St. Honoré. Theo always had a smile on his face and was willing to help others.

Theo loved the outdoors, particularly "the country", and would spend his downtime fishing or tending to the weekend house in Upstate, NY. Yvette and Theo could be found sitting on their porch in Jackson Heights entertaining with family, and watching to the passing neighborhood. Theo loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and taught them that hard work will earn success, which included never letting them win a game of dominos.

Theophile was predeceased by his wife Yvette Le Guelaff, his sister Jeanie, son Daniel Le Guelaff, and daughter-in-law Sharon Fink-Le Guelaff.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jacques Le Guelaff and Colleen Murphy-Le Guelaff; five grandchildren, Andrew, Eric, Jennifer, Brittany, and Jack, their significant others; three great-grandchildren, Patrick, Sophia, and Nicole; nieces and loving family.
