Terry - I just learned of Bob’s passing and I am so truly sorry. Bob was such a wonderful guy and we had such good times when we were together. I remember the last time we saw each other - you came by my house in Florida and we were having a Christmas party. Please offer condolences to your sons and your entire family. I will always think of him as Uncle Bob, and Theresa as Aunt Terry, even though I haven't seen them in decades. I remember being welcomed as a guest at family holidays and being treated like family. I had my first oysters with the Murphys. Yours is a family of warmth and kindness, joy and laughter. I thank you for the wonderful memories that I carry from time spent with your family. I'm so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man. My heart goes out to the whole family. Much love from Jeanette.

Dear Theresa and family, Catharine and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was a very cool guy and I thoroughly enjoyed my relationship with him during the years that Chris played for me at LeMoyne and beyond. He was so supportive to our program and the guys on the team loved being around him. I remember when you both graciously opened your beautiful home to our entire smelly baseball team and fed the guys a wonderful meal. I also remember going to dinner with him on several occasions and being treated to a great night filled with super food, excellent wine and easy conversation. As I told Chris, I characterized him as successful, genuine and humble. Thank you and Bob for sending your son to play for me and trusting us with his tutelage. We had a lot of fun! Sending you all positive thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I will fondly remember my interactions with BobO...may he rest in peace. Steve Owens
