Obituary of Marian J. Lakser

On the evening of November 24, 2022, Marian Lakser, 72, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, following a long and courageous battle with Lewy body dementia.

Marian was born in Krakow, Poland and raised in Haifa, Israel.  He served in the Israeli army and fought with them in the Six-Day War and Yom Kippur War. He immigrated to New York to attend college and pursue the American dream which he succeeded at with his usual determination, hard work and starting his own successful businesses.

He loved to ski, play golf, racketball, and enjoy the company of his good friends and family.  Always classy and generous is how he lived life.

Funeral Service is on Sunday November 27 at 10:00 am Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South St., Oyster Bay, NY.  The family will be sitting Shiva at 15 Hilary Drive, Bayville, NY on Sunday from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm and Monday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
