Caputo, James - on August 26, 2006, age 87, resident of Bayville, NY. Beloved husband of Joy . Loving father of Melinda Pesci ( Mark). Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Michael. Dear brother of Phyllis Borda of Oyster Bay and John of Aliquippa, PA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. James was a WWII Veteran who served with the U.S. Army as a 1st lieutenant in the Signal Corp. Visiting at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South Street, Oyster Bay, NY on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m.. Funeral services will be held at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Care Network, 99 Sunnyside Boulevard, Woodbury, NY 11797 or the Village Church of Bayville, 9 Mountain Avenue, Bayville, NY 11709.
