Today, in learning of my uncle/Godfather's passing,
the initial feeling of loss is yet another "light" in my own life/spirit to have flickered out...
Our world briefly darkens, only to be rekindled in our hearts, through living memories that we'll carry until our own candle ceases in the wind.
The personal impact my uncle has had on ALL who knew or met him -- family, friends, neighbors, brothers-in-arms, business associates and clients alike, will continue and be more far-reaching than any of the ripples in all the waters-of-the-world that he plied in his full life.
In The Book of Life, my uncle has etched many more pages of value than all the jeweler's marks of his
watch repairs,diamonds set, rings engraved combined.
His love of life and the life he lived was
solid gold to those of us who love him.</b></font><br><br>
