John Kerr posted a condolence
For Mr. B, Paula and family including my brother Jim - my deepest condolences. With certain difficulty I contemplate the pain/sadness with Mary Ann's passing that you all are dealing with. May your shared love, experiences, and memories of Mary Ann help all of you through this as well as bring you all closer at this terribly sad time.
Just a little memory I would like to add about Mary Ann: After Paula and Jim's wedding I was talking to her, Mr. B and my mom commenting on the priests' sermon and Mary Ann wonderfully complimented me for "listening" :). I know that sounds terribly minor but it always stuck with me because it made me feel good. She had a sharp mind (which I see in Paula by the way) and she was obviously a very proud mother and wife.
A big hug for you Angelo...

Anne (Cook) Harten posted a condolence
Loving, cherished, caring, faithful, devoted.... all these are mere words. But, MaryAnn was the embodiment of a lioness who posessed all these qualities and more. Her spirit and personality nurtured family. She gave the best example of combined tradition and liberation being able to conduct business, family and social concerns with style, elegance and an ease that made everything look simple. She was a lady, in the true sense of the word, to be loved, respected and admired. She was the type of person of whom a gal could truly say, "I want to be like her when I grow up!"
She was a model of energy and determination topped with grace.
Our prayers are with the Barbaruolo family that you all may find strength and faith throughout this tragic time of great loss. Only God knows why things happen the way they do. We must trust in Him and know that some day we will all be together once more whole, unbroken and renewed. Meanwhile MaryAnn is living in our hearts and memories as precious as ever.
