Dearest Elsie,
You always called me your third child. I love you so and will miss you but you will never be out of my heart or thoughts. Every time I see a pansy, a bunny, enjoy artwork, eat chocolate, snuggle in with a good book or think of the Christman "Elfies" you will be with me. Everytime I enjoy a sunset or sunrise, a summer breeze or the diamond glint on newly fallen snow you will be with me. Everytime I look to the sky and see a flock of birds or a robin on the branch of a tree you will be with me. Everytime I see new shoots emerge from the warmed earth or the patterns formed on the windows during an ice storm you will be with me. You have been a role model for me - taught me how to enjoy life and also how to bear grief - taught me patience and respect but also how to recognize a wrong and speak up for myself as well as others when wronged. I pray for Maria and Johnny and Eddie to have strength we have all lost a good friend. Maria said it best - and what a special memorial coming from a daughter - she said that we were the lucky ones because we knew you and had the good luck to have you touch our lives, we should feel sorry for those who didn't have the chance to know you!</b></font><br><br>
