Sperandei, Lawrence J. on May 2, 2006, age 92, lifelong resident of Bayville, LI. Beloved husband of Sarah. Also survived by loving relatives and friends. He was a devoted member of the Bayville American Legion-Robert H. Spittel Post1285, a Charter member of Bayville-Centre Island Rotary Club, a member of the Manhasset Bay Power Squadron, and a Board member of the Bayville Free Library for many years. Visiting Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South St., Oyster Bay, LI Thursday from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass St. Gertrude RC Church, Bayville, Friday 10 am Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Bayville Free Library, School Street, Bayville NY 11709 would be appreciated.
