Axman, Julius - on October 5, 2006, age 85, resident of Huntington Station, NY and Southern Shores, NC. Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Stephen (Marie) and Douglas. Cherished grandfather of Mary Beth, Jaclyn, Melissa and Kimberly. Adored great grandfather of Tyler Julius and Addison. Julius was a highly decorated 82nd Airborne WWII Paratrooper Sergeant, 20 year veteran of the Southern Shores, NC Fire Department, member and Director of the Long Island Sunrisers Drum and Bugle Corps and member of Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps, 40 year member of the Farmingdale VFW. Visiting at the MA. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station, NY on Saturday from 2-5pm. Religious services and military honors to be held during this time. Interment private.
