Bill and Tootie i am so sorry for your loss. There is nothing i can say or feel that will help right now. It has been a long time since we were together. As i look at this picture i have a million memory's and thoughts that are running through my mind, a lump in my throat that won't quit and tears in my eye's. I am sending you this poem because it helped Linda when she lost her Dad. Our thought's and prayers are with you.
Linda and Chip
I AM NOT THERE
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

I went to high school with Wayne and remember his kindness and sense of humor, and being a great gymnast and wrestler. I have lived in florida for 20 years, so I have only had the opportunity to catch up with him at our class reunions which have been alot of fun. I will fondly remember Wayne and my sincere thoughts are with his familiy. much love to you Wayne.

I don't know how we became such good friends, but I am so glad we did ! Wayne was like a younger brother to me ..and I treated him that way too!!!! He tried hard.
Casey,your dad loved you so much !!He always showed me your pictures. I was so happy to meet you one day when he brought you in.
Wayne always made sure I had someting to eat during the day because I was too busy to go to lunch!! He was a very sharing generous man.Our best conversations were about ways to catch a crook!
I know he had some personal issues that were very difficult to deal with.I am so proud that he was able to accomplish as much as he did under any circumstance.Sometimes its hard to get up when you feel your already down. He tried!
Days, months and years will pass,and today's shock will subside,but I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be Wayne's friend!!!!He will be missed in this office for a very long time!

Mr. and Mrs. Wright, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Wayne at Allstate and would talk to him on an almost daily basis. He always seemed to know when I was having a bad day and would do everything in his power to cheer me up. No matter what, by the time I got off the phone with him I had a smile on my face. For that, I will never forget him!! He will be missed!!

He was a loving father to me. He always cared for me. He loved to play baseball and have a catch with me. My favorite part about my dad was to hug me. He always talked about baseball with me every time I saw him. He was the best father you could ever have in your life. He played football and every time he tackled me, he hugged me. He is the best father in the world.

Wayne loved his family very much. At work when I heard laughter Wayne was in the middle of it.
He was caring and willing to lend a hand when in need.
