Aunt Anna, there are no words to describe the terrible feeling of not having you around for the holidays. They are not the same without you and my Mom. You go through the motions, but thoughts of you and Mom are always in my heart. Your first Christmas in heaven, but there is some comfort knowing that you are with your Mom, Dad, Brother and sister. Hi Aunt Anna, just wrote on my Mom's, yesterday was 2 long years without her. Today is 4 long months without you. This will be my mom's 3rd Christmas and your first. It seems like an eternity that we haven't been together.
We all went over to celebrate Uncle Dan's 90th birthday, so amazing. I miss not talking with you anymore. I love you so,so much.

Hi grandma. We have had quite an interesting last two weeks. I feel very fortunate that our family and homes are ok after hurricane Sandy. I've been thinking and praying for the other people who have not been so lucky.
Kurt is moving in downstairs this weekend. Our family worked hard on it and it looks incredible! I'm excited to help Kurt get set up in there.
Thaksgiving is two weeks from today. I can't believe how fast the time goes. Matthew and Erica will be home soon! Matthew is anxious to come home to see the damage, of course :).
I miss you everyday and love you always grandma.

Ann, I never thought that you would die before me. I miss you so much. I never realized what you did for me. You cooked for me, made the beds for me, you did everything to make it easy for me. I never realized what you did until you passed away. Sometimes I sit in the living room and look at the chair that you always sat in and tears start to come out of my eyes. Aunt Anna....You have always been such a special, special person in my life. Always giving of yourself, always the care-giver, and always doing it with such love. You've kept all of us together each and every holiday, insisting at your age that you wanted to do it as long as you could. You were an amazing woman! I could only wish and pray,that I could even be half the woman you were. You family is complete for now up in heaven, so please, as you have always done, take good care of my Mom.I have just lost my second Mom in a year and a half. The pain and the emptiness in my heart will never go away, so know that you are truly loved so much and missed so much.
