Obituary of Richard H. Scofield

Scofield, Richard H. Dick, long time resident of Bayville NY, age 82, on October 5, 2007 in Delray Beach, Florida. Devoted husband of 61 years to Geraldine. Loving Father to Kevin (Pam) and Judy (Tom) Walling. Born in Oshkosh, WI, on May 28 1925. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during WWII, and continued for 16 years in the Naval Reserve. Of all his lifetime accomplishments, he was most proud of his military career and service to his country. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, nieces and nephews. Memorial service to be held at St. Gertrudes R.C. Church on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Oyster Bay Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486 would be appreciated.
