Placilla, Therese "Terry" on Jan. 13, 2008, age 78, of Bayville, LI. Beloved wife of Melford. Loving mother of Melford (Kathleen), William (Debra), Charlotte Holmes, and Timothy (Margaret). Cherished grandmother of Christina Peller (Ryan), Kelly, Justin, Sarah Harris (Chris), Benjamin, Marlo Ransdell (Joel), Clint Edwards, Stephanie Lane, Caroline Lane, Kevin, and Thomas. Proud great grandmother of Brooke, Jack, Max, and Joel. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was a devoted employee of the Locust Valley School District for many years.
