Sonia was always smiling, always friendly and sincere. She was a lovely woman and I loved hearing her voice on the phone and seeing her smile at my aunt and uncles house.
My favorite memories are from when I was a young girl, playing at my aunt and uncles house. Sonia would call out to my younger brother “Danielo, Danielo” It became my favorite nickname for him, “Dan Yello.” She would help me make snacks and always said “Oy Yessica you are getting so big.” I loved knowing her and will remember her always.
