Living so far from “home” is sometimes difficult, especially when it comes to times like these. So Brian and I want send our deepest sympathies and love to our Uncle John, the four boys and their wives, the grandchildren and Camilla. When we think about Aunt Phyllis, we will remember her jokes and her natural talent for timing them perfectly. It always seemed like she enjoyed telling them as much as we enjoyed listening to them. She loved her family more than anything else and for that she received love in return and she will never be forgotten. Linda and Brian Logue

Dear John, John, Steve, Tommy, Bobby, and ALL of the Bergano Family. Cherish all the memories and the time you had. Your mom was a wonderful, kind, loving lady. There is a piece of her in ALL of you. It was my pleasure to have known her all these years. My love and strength to all. Carolyn & children

My mother in-law was not a typical mother-in law to me she was my friend and a second mom to me. I grew up with her since 19 years old. We laughed, cried and did many things together. I always explained to my children and husband that family means a lot so we need to do things together. It was always my great pleasure to have my in-laws go everywhere with my family especially on vacations. Cmon they are the life of the party and we always enjoyed all our outings. So again I say to all never put off till tomorrow what you should do today. I love you mom!! and will always have you in my heart and keep all you taught us in the minds of my children and family members. Till we meet again.

My heart is full of such sadness but I still laugh as I think of the jokes that Phyllis brought to us. I will always think of her when I hear a joke. Prayers are plentiful tonight. Will miss you so much Aunt Phil!!!!!

My greatest memory of Aunt Phyllis is probably one of the latest. Steven and I visited Gramma (Camilla) on or around Gram's last birthday with what we thought was a great gift. Come to find out, my 84 (@ the time) year old gramma DIDN't want a live frog as a pet.... Gramma loves ANYTHING frog-related, except real live frogs. Gram called aunt phyll down to come see her surprise gift. Aunt Phyll did NOT believe us that it was a real frog, she thought it was remote controlled, up until the frog, later named Cupcake, leaped right on her chest. Well, aunt Phyllis freaked and screamed and bounced around, we all got a huge laugh, and she finally believed Cupcake was alive! It was hilarious as we tried to catch this frog jumping around under grammas magnolia tree! Most memories of her are funny as hell! The two of them, uncle Johnny and her telling jokes and finishing each others' punch lines! Bras out of table linens, the suave moves on the dance floor, she is already so incredibly missed. Steven reminisced about her dancing today. We hope we will have such a fun, happy, long life in love as she did!
Love you Aunt Phyllis! Time to boogey with the angels!

Dear John, John, Steve, Tommy, Bobby, and ALL of the Bergano Family, my heart hurts today. My eyes can't seem to dry out. Phyllis meant so much to me growing up. In my adulthood, as I learned how good of friends my Mom and she really were, it just made me even closer to her. I don't have to tell any of you how wonderful she was. Peace be with all of you during this difficult time. OXOX
