Sangermano, Mary (nee Abbate) - Peacefully on May 10, 2010, age 95, Lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, NY. Beloved wife of the late Michael Sr., Loving mother of Vincent (Jeanne), Elizabeth Bishop (David), Michael Jr., Maria SantAngelo (John), Tina Scadin (David), and the late Paul. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Balmanno (Scott), Gena Kowert (Lorne), Vincent Sangermano (Monet), Paul Sangermano, Mary Bishop, Ariana SantAngelo, and Gabrielle SantAngelo. Proud great grandmother of four. Survived by brothers Eugene Abbate (Frances), Sam Abbate (Marie), and Angelo Abbate (Charlotte). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visiting Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South St., Oyster Bay, NY Wednesday 7-9 p.m., and Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass St. Dominic RC Chapel, Oyster Bay, NY Friday 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
