I just saw Ricky the begining of aug at syosset hospital. He was smiling and said he was just in for a few tests. Next thing I know he has passed on. I'm so glad he didn't have to suffer too long. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, his family and friends.

Ricky was such a special and loving person, cousin and Father. I have such fond memories of the four of us growing up together with his sister Maria and my brother Lee. He had such a love for life, especially his fishing, boating and hunting. He was taken away from us way too early. We will miss him very much. Ricky, may you rest in peace. Maria and Family. I can't believe that Ricky is gone. It is a shock and I dinf myself in true disbelief. May your memories of him comfort you all. He is with you mom and Aunt Rose now. I am so glad that he didn't suffer and may he rest in peace.

When we lose someone dear to us, our experience of pain and loss is beyond understanding, beyond emotion. This is to be human. To share our lives, to be generous to a fault, to always be ready to help, to love, to laugh, to be caring, to enjoy life, to BE loved...this was to be Erich. I have no doubt that our dear Erich has brought his infectious zeal to the saints and is sharing with them in Christ's peace. It is we who must be there for each other, as Erich was for us, to help each other through this terrible loss and grief.

My dear brother died very quickly after being diagnosed with lung cancer only four weeks ago. Though he had the determination and will to seek out the best treatment, time did not allow it. He fought very hard, and thankfully did not suffer for an extended period of time. I will eternally miss my brother, who was always there for me. My brother, Ricky, was dependable, and someone who I could always go to in any time of need. I am suffering with a heaviness in my heart to think how he was robbed of a full life. I will always love him, and wish he were here with me now. Please Lord let him rest in eternal peace.
