It really touched my heart to hear from so many cousins with memories and comments about my dad. Thank you. Of course, it brought more tears. We will miss him . . .such a unique man. The floral cross was on his coffin and buried with him. Thank you to Uncle John's children. Seeing Joe, Peg, Brandon, Pat and Tom was very comforting. I feel blessed that I had a lot of time with him at the end of his life. We held hands and felt God's presence. Love to all, Polly

My Poppa made everything fun for me as a child. I'll never forget how we would take the "roller coaster road" and he would turn the engine off and we would fly over the hills and catch air and I would squeal with happiness. In Watkins Glen he built me a homade swing and put a haystack right nearby so I could jump off of the swing into the haystack. Poppa made everyday things magical. While I miss him terribly, I know that he is at peace. I love you, Poppa. -"Rachel Pachel Pudding and Pie" as you called me

TOO many to pick just one but Grover is the classiest, most honest, and kindest man I knew. "They just don't make them like that anymore." I will miss him although I know he has gone to a better place visiting his brothers.

I remember Mahoney's farm every August. Comimg thru LI on the way to Robert Moses beach than some softball and a barbeque than some cardplaying. Skiing in the poconos.He led a very active life. He always smiled and laughed around kids.Some of my best childhood memories Uncle Grover was a big part.
