Dear Rob and family,
I am most sadden by the news of your sisters death and every time I drive past the house on the corner of Godfrey and Perry I always think back to those days when we were still in junior high school and when I would come over to visit. I remember how you used to tease Lynn and your mother would scold your for it and I would just crack up laughing as she was always so innocent and gentle and it seemed somehow a little unfair to tease her.
Being as it is Christmastime it makes this kind of news all the more heartbreaking and the timing itself seems so unfair as well.
God bless her and may she rest in eternal peace.

I was with Lynn, as you know Sarah, Thursday afternoon. She brought me pine bows and ribbon and we made a holiday wreath together. We talked about what to add to the wreath for decorations. When I went home Thursday night I gathered up a hand full of pink shells...the ones you commonly see on the beach...and was going to add them to the wreath this past weekend to surprise Lynn when I saw her today as planned. She had shared with me her love of nature and living near the beach and I wanted to do something special as she is an extraordinarily special soul. Sarah, your Mom is so very proud of the young woman you have grown to be. My life is richer for having met your Mom.

I find it hard to believe Lynn is gone. I will miss seeing her working in her yard, something she loved to do. I remember so many happy times with her and Stephen and Sarah. I shared her love of cats. We both had ferral cats that we fed and we always talked about them. I will miss her warm smile and her loving nature. She always filled the room with love.
