I just heard of your dad's passing-I'm so sorry I couldn't be there to say goodbye to a good friend that I've adored for 26 years. What a shock and tremendous loss for all who loved him-he truly was an outstanding and extremely lovable, gentle, kind-hearted, giving, generous, fun, not to mention gorgeous man-inside and out!!! Those beautiful eyes were the window to a truly beautiful soul! He will be so missed by all of us who loved him! Ryan, Cindy, and Kevin-I am so sorry for your loss!!! I'm so sure he is watching over you! He was so proud of you guys!!!

Don't mean to burn up all the candles, but please tell all the brave airmen I could not save in Vietnam that I am sorry, but I did my best. They are a great bumch of guys and they can tell you some of the insane things we did in Saigon. You would have fit in perfectly. And tell God I am still mad at him for taking my best friend too early.

Just thinking about our Senior Prom and how afterwards we went to that nightclub in NYC and got to see Tony Bennett. Another wonderful memory of being with the best friend God ever put on this earth. I made a mistake and asked you to get with St. Anthony who I thought was the Patron Saint of Fisherman but I was wrong, it is St. Peter. So please get with St. Peter and ask him to hook me up with some monster bass. You know I just catch them and throw them back so fly over to the Pearly Gates and ask the big man a favor for old Tony. Take care my friend, I will love and miss you until we see each other again. Tony

Dad, I've been walking about 5 miles a day. Sometimes more. Trying to get back in shape. Doin the squats and even lifting some weights. U used to get on my case about strengthening my elbow. U were always right. Sit UPS are pretty hard with a gut but I do them anyway. You were such a handsome man and I want to live up to that. I love you and miss you.

Thank you for being my friend. This morning I am thinking of how we made sling-shots out of tree branch "Y's", old tire tubes and baseball gloves. We used to go to the Ostrow's Mansion because they had the best small, round stones in town. Our accuracy was not that great but we had so much fun. I miss you Mark.

I miss you terribly my best friend, and although I will still mourn your passing I am going to "CELEBRATE YOUR LIFE".
Remember the time we went water skiing and you almost ran me over with the boat, and our fishing trips out in the Atlantic Ocean in my little 14 foot boat? We did some crazy things Mark, but we always had fun. You were the brother I never had and now you are with God. Rest In Peace my beloved friend.

To Cindy, Ryan and Kevin,
Words cannot express how saddened Bill and I were to hear of Mark’s passing. He was so proud of all of you. We will never forget that beaming smile as he walked Cindy down the aisle to marry our son Scott last September.
Mark, thank-you for your wonderful daughter Cindy. She has been like a daughter to us from the very first time we met her. A daughter to us and a sister to Caroline and Britt.
God gave us a gift when Scott and Cindy met in Bahrain! We thank-you for sharing her with us.
Mark, you will be missed by so many. Watch over all of your children and grand-children who love you so very much.
Your memory will live on forever.

Dad was always the man I wanted to be like. He was my hero, my role model, the person I looked up to and the best man I knew. We are grateful for the time we had with him, and the impressions he left on all of us. His last words to me 2 days before his passing was how happy he was with the life he lived and truly appreciated it. He told me how proud of us he was and that he loved us. We will miss you dad.

Indisputably the best father-in-law a guy could ever ask for. You somehow managed to embody the perfect blend of love, passion, calm, selflessness, and above all else -- humor. I will miss watching you rip your drives high-and-righ off the tee as you yelled "Feldman" in the hope the tree god's would miraculously deposit your Titleist in the middle of the fairway ;-) Thank you for your love and friendship, and most of all, thank you for raising the most perfect woman whom I am so fortunate to call my wife. Cindy, Liam, and I will miss you deeply and you will in our hearts always. Light that victory cigar, kick back, and watch over us with Al and John. Love you big guy...

Words can't express how much I will miss my brother Mark. He was always so loving, funny and sweet. Never did we have an angry word between us and the last words we always spoke were I love you! We were blessed with a relationship that very few siblings have experienced. All four of the Keating kids adored one another. How I miss all three of my brothers...all gone too early in their lives.
