Beloved daughter of Rebecca James and the late Henry James.Cherished mother of Donald Joseph Chandler (Mary Ann), and Jennifer Marie Chandler-King (William). Loving partner of Tia Goodrich. Devoted grandmother of Jamel, Javonte, Jasha, and Joseph. Dear sister of Patricia James, Claudette Allen, Laura James, Martha Green, Henry James, Jennette James, Lorraine James, Frances Hicks, and Irma Lowe. Visiting: Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South Street, Oyster Bay, LI, Friday 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Hood AME Zion Church, corner of South Street and Summit Street, Oyster Bay, LI on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Pine Hollow Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Hood A.M.E. Zion Church of Oyster Bay or you may send flowers. Repast to be held following the interment at The Hood A.M.E Zion Church, corner of Summit Street and South Street. Parking is available behind the church in a municipal parking lot off of Summit Street.
