Kiernan, John P. Jack on Apr. 1, 2007, age 78, Lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, LI. Beloved husband of Rosemary. Loving father of John P. (Jan), Mary Tighe (Barry), Rosemary Bilello (Steve), and Gerard (Kim). Cherished grandfather of Sean, Steven, Graig, Kelly, Amy, Grace, Jeanne, Spencer, and Erin. Dear brother of Theresa Capobianco (John). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was a devoted member of Oyster Bay Fire Company #1, K of C Council 1206, Past Vice Commander of Quentin Roosevelt Post #4 American Legion, and Past Commader of VFW Memorial Post 8033. He was a Proud member of the Korean War Veterans and a Purple Heart and Bronze Star Recipient. Visiting Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South St., Oyster Bay Tuesday and Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Blessing St. Dominic RC Chapel, Oyster Bay, Thursday 10:00 a.m. Interment is private.
